God, our creator, knows us deeper than we know ourselves. At Awaken, we take intentional time to be present before the Lord, meditate on His Word, come to Him in prayer, and simply rest at His feet. Being “awakened” to God’s presence means living in step with the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives as a community, allowing Him to transform our hearts from selfishness to selflessness; from pride to humility.

Christian faith is not lived out in isolation, but with others who can sharpen and encourage us. Awaken serves as a community where we can fellowship with one another, talk about what is on our hearts, and how we can support, pray for, and rejoice with one another. Being “awakened” to God’s presence means living out our faith in community and being aware of each other's needs.

AWAKEN
The western world is suffering from what has been called an “epidemic of loneliness.” In a world full of isolation, distraction, polarization, and hyper-individualism, there is a desperate need for deep belonging and community.
Awaken is a community where young adults feeling the effects of life and culture can come to deepen their walk with God, to know others, and to be known.
